I signed up for Instagram Tuesday.
Oddly enough, I joined a photo-sharing social network on the exact day that I decided I will no longer list “photographer” as part of the Liz Davenport Creative boilerplate.
But given that I work in a visual industry, Instagram seemed like a natural choice to showcase my portfolio. Snap a pic with the mobile. Done.
But, I have to admit, I’m kinda confused about strategy. What to share. What not to share. When to share. Who to follow.
And what the heck? Is it like sacrilege to use the SLR? Or is that how it’s really done and everyone pretends they took this awesome pic with their iPhone?
I guess I’ll find out as time goes on. Or if you have any advice, I’d love to hear it.
For now, though, you can find me on Instagram at liz_davenport_creative. So far, I’ve posted two pictures. (I know, right. I’m an Instagram mad woman).
(That cute little kiddo is a picture of The Zuke and is my profile pic. And for full disclosure, it was taken with a Canon 40D, not an iPhone).
