Alden’s Easy Peasy Crockpot Applesauce

Every morning, my husband devours four prunes with his breakfast. Pardon the pun, but it’s his regular ritual.crockpot applesauce

Unlike daddy, Alden gravitates towards applesauce. Spiced up with a bit of cinnamon and added directly to his oatmeal as a bit of sweetener, he chows down on the combo.

Normally, we just buy the unsweetened store brand, but with apples in season (and with the promise of a heavenly aroma emanating from the Crockpot) I decided to give homemade applesauce a try.cinnamon stick
